Governor Ron DeSantis' recent veto of $32 million in arts funding has left us on the brink. The Ritz Chamber Players face an imminent loss of nearly $25,000 in crucial funds. This veto isn’t just a financial set back; it strikes at the cultural heart of our state. Eliminating all state grants for arts organizations is unprecedented and threatens years of progress in making the arts accessible to all.
